The advantage of oil-based drilling fluids over traditional water systems has been repeatedly proven during drilling-in of productive layers in Ukraine. OBM Witer II will be used for drilling the productive horizons within the interval 5110 – 5450 m. The density of drilling mud is 1250 kg/m3. The required amount of OBM Witer II is provided to the customer on lease.
Water based fluid will be changed for oil-based drilling mud Witer II after setting of the production casing Ø178 mm.
PARAMETERS OF OBM WITER-IІ:
- Density – 1,25 g/сm3;
- Funnel Viscosity – 35-80 s;
- Gel Strenght – 30-60/40-80 dPa;
- PV – 20-60 cP;
- YP – 50-150 dPa;
- Filtration (7 bar, oil filtrate) – ≤3 ml/30 min;
- Electrostability – ≥250 V.
