Oil-based flushing fluids are gaining in popularity. Now almost all private customers drilling-in the productive horizons with the utilization of OBM. Even the state-owned concern Ukrgazvydobuvannya expresses its interest and takes decisive steps towards the use of such type of flushing liquids in their fields. Since the range of use of such drilling muds is much wider, the risks of various kinds of complications are practically absent, the problem of disposal of hydrophobic sludge is solved, and the effect of the application completely reduces costs.
This is already the fifth well where OBM Witer-II is used for drilling-in of productive layers. This time length of drilling interval is 700 m that is much bigger then at previous well. Oil-based mud was delivered to the rig site with a density of 1200 kg/m3, and after replacement it will be weighed to a density of 1300 kg/m3. This approach is due solely to the technical capabilities of bulk car transport. We hope for a good level of industrial products.
